When Augustus first asks Hazel for her story, she responds with her diagnosis. He tells her he wants to her about her, her personality, and at first she doesn't know what to tell him. When they start talking about what they both like, they really hit it off and their relationship begins to grow. Hazel is so intrigued and amazed by Augustus because he's had cancer, and that's not what he wants to hear about. He wants to hear about her favorite movie, her favorite color, and her favorite book. Because he's not just interested in how the disease is, but how Hazel is, their relationship really blossoms.

Game Plan
For this unit Harris, Jack, Sophia and I have created a blog that we will post in daily. Our posts will typically be in response or in addition to our discussions in class about each assigned reading. Feel free to comment and/or post in our blog as well.
